Yujia Ma (b. 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Zhejiang, China.
She makes art to play — and to heal — using her body as the most readily available prop and subject.
Through research and autofiction, performance and reenactment, she processes and makes sense of her own past, as well as escaping into the different lives of her imagined personae.
Results arrived at through serendipity are held in equal regard to those achieved through technique.
Yujia received her MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in May 2025, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Babson College with a concentration in Marketing.
She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

Because you care about where your things come from.
Becasue you want to make sure that even the little corners of your environment,
are intentional and a reflection of your taste.
Because we are a great option for gifting.
Because obtaining, is owning, is collecting, is displaying, is sharing.
Because we are an accessible source to art and aethetics.
Because you make a connection with the artist —
showing appreciation for the work —
formally and informally at the same time.
Because fine art can be commodified and still be valued like art.
