Xcape The Corporeality*
A pill at a time, my child.
Brace yourself for the unknown, and
Concentrate on your heightened sensations,
Don’t try to fight them.
Echoing in the air you see are light beams,
Flash and flitter. (They might be too harsh for your eyes.)
Gushing from the corners of the room are smokes,
Harmless and heavenly. (They might seem too real.)
I feel your desire for love, my child;
Just as I feel your yearning for pain.
Know that these feelings don’t contradict each other:
Love encompasses pain and vice versa,
My child, my
Newborn baby from a pill ago.
Obliterate everything that is taught to you (by me, too).
Palpitating is your heart, so feel it;
Questioning the reality is your curiosity, so follow it;
Remembering to forget is your duty,
So fulfill it. (This is a big one, my child.)
The child is the father of the man:
U asked me,
Very unapologetically,
(to which I responded with a glimpse of approval)
“When can I do it again?” “Do what,” I replied.
(playfully, like any mother would.)
“Xcape the Corporeality!”
….
Years will have to come by, my child, until you realize,
Zero is the sum to everything you think you know.
